HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- Traffic on the North Freeway was brought to a halt Sunday morning as deputies took a person into custody after an apparent chase, Transtar cameras showed.

Just before 10 a.m., several deputy patrol cars were seen blocking all southbound mainlanes of the freeway near Richey, video footage showed.

Minutes later, multiple deputies could be seen removing a person from a dark-colored sedan and taking them into custody.
