Dallas police are responding to a shooting involving a police officer.

What we know: The shots were fired around 10:30 a.m. in the 5900 block of Williamstown Road, which is in a neighborhood north of Forest Lane near Preston Road.

Images from SKY 4 showed multiple police vehicles and crime scene tape in front of upscale homes.
