13 Alert Traffic: Heavy truck crash, hazmat spill shut down I-610 EB at Telephone, SkyEye13 shows

HOUSTON, Texas (KTRK) -- A major crash and hazmat spill have shut down a portion of the South Loop on Thursday, according to Houston TranStar.

TranStar reported the incident involving the heavy truck on I-610 South Loop at Telephone Road at about 11 a.m., shutting down all eastbound lanes.

It's unclear what may have led to the crash or whether anyone was injured.
