ECTOR COUNTY, Texas (KOSA) - An Odessa boy accused of shooting his girlfriend's mother and siblings to death last December pleaded guilty to three counts of murder Monday and was sentenced to three concurrent life sentences in Ector County District Court.

According to Odessa American, Valdez, now 16, pleaded guilty before Judge Justin Low.

Valdez was accused of shooting Jessica Rodriguez, 39, Kylie Martinez, 13, and Jacob Martinez, 9, on Dec. 9, 2025, at an apartment on Hunter Miller Way in north Odessa.
