MIDLAND, Texas - The Permian Basin's largest event is back.

The 16th Annual Midland County Fair officially returns to the Horseshoe Arena this week, bringing a full slate of food, rides, entertainment, and a deep-rooted sense of community to Midland.

While the modern incarnation of the fair is celebrating its 16th consecutive year, the event boasts a rich history.
