NACOGDOCHES, Texas (KTRE) - Nacogdoches city's public water system announced Wednesday morning that the boil water notice has been lifted after lab results certified the safety of water being supplied to effected areas.

Some areas of Nacogdoches were experiencing low water pressure Monday or no water at all due to a water line break near the intersection of Hollywood Street and Lenwood Drive, according to city officials.

Because of the loss of pressure, the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality, or TCEQ, required the City of Nacogdoches' public water system to notify all customers south of Main Street and west of Press Road to boil their water before drinking it.
