ANDERSON, Texas (KBTX) - Three Bedias men have been sentenced to prison following a coordinated multi-agency investigation into the abuse of a teenage victim, the Grimes County District Attorney's Office announced Thursday.

Brian Keith Manley, 51, Christopher Barnett, 49, and Jody Jernigan, 60, all received substantial prison sentences after pleading guilty to charges stemming from an investigation that began in May 2025.

According to the District Attorney's Office, the Grimes County Sheriff's Office first received a report on May 2, 2025, regarding the abuse of a female child between the ages of 14 and 16 in Bedias.
