A suspected intoxicated driver was taken into custody after a crash on the Northwest Side, according to the San Antonio Police Department.

The crash happened around 11 p.m. Saturday in the 14000 block of FM 1560 North.

Police said a Mazda was stopped at a red light when a Toyota SUV struck it from behind at a high rate of speed.
