CALDWELL COUNTY, Texas (KBTX) - A pilot walked away with only minor injuries after a single-engine plane crashed northwest of Luling on Thursday afternoon.

The crash occurred in the 6400 block of FM 671.

According to the Caldwell County Constable's Office Precinct 2, after declaring an emergency, the pilot attempted to land the aircraft on FM 671 before it left the roadway and came to rest in the trees.
