WACO, Texas (KWTX) - A Waco man is facing charges after his sister told investigators that he intentionally set fire to her home while she was still inside.

According to an arrest affidavit, Robert Earl Bray III, 44, was arrested on August 5 after police responded to an alleged illegal fire at a home on the 600 block of N. The affidavit states that a Waco Fire Marshal lieutenant was dispatched to the scene at around 12:43 p.m. after reports came in of an illegal burn.

Bray III had already left the scene when authorities arrived, according to the affidavit.
