A man was arrested Tuesday after allegedly threatening his brother with a gun and barricading himself inside a home with two young children, according to authorities.

At approximately 1 a.m., Alexander Uriel Valadez, 22, went to his brother's home located in the 1300 block of Cherry Lane and got into an argument with his brother, authorities said.

Valadez allegedly pulled out a gun and threatened his brother, who left the home and called 911.
