SAN ANTONIO, Texas - A military service member was taken to a hospital after falling during a rappelling demonstration before a University of Texas at San Antonio football game Saturday night, according to reporting by KPRC 2's sister station, KSAT.

The incident happened just before 7 p.m. at the Alamodome in San Antonio, where UTSA was scheduled to face Navy, according to the San Antonio Fire Department, KSAT reported.

The service member was participating in a pregame demonstration with three other officers as part of UTSA's Salute to Armed Forces and Veterans night, witnesses told KSAT.
