MIDLAND, Texas (KOSA) - The Attic Foster Network is hosting its 5th annual Super Hero Run on Sept. 19 at First Baptist Church Midland, with proceeds supporting West Texas foster children.

Being a foster parent is difficult and expensive.

The Attic works to make that process easier by providing supplies foster families need to bring children into their homes."Some of the items we provide are things that foster families need, so we want to make sure that it's seamless for them to get their homes ready to bring kids in," said Shauna Todd, executive director for One Accord for Kids, the nonprofit that houses The Attic.
