(KGNS) - Webb County commissioners court reviewed a proposal to renovate the county fairgrounds, a venue that draws crowds of up to 15,000 people, as part of a $65 million plan that has been under discussion for nearly two years.

The proposal, presented by the 1848 Event Center's executive director and an architect with Slay Architects, outlines renovations across the property.
