(KXII) - Shawn Geurin is settling into his role as Ardmore's city manager after the city commission made his hiring official earlier this month."It's exciting.. makes you very nervous going through the process, but you now, I'm glad that we're finally through it and I can focus on what's ahead of us now," Geurin said.
Geurin served as interim city manager for nearly four months, since Kevin Boatright retired in July.
Before that, he spent 27 years with the city, including time as assistant city manager and public utilities director."With utilities we were touching everybody... You wake up in the morning, you brush your teeth that's utilities," Geurin said.
