LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - Literacy Lubbock will host the Lubbock Book Festival on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Overton Hotel and Conference Center.

The family-friendly event will feature over 70 authors, book signings and workshops starting at 9 a.m. "Kids Chapter" will offer crafts and reading activities for children.

"The Lubbock Book Festival allows our community to come together and celebrate books, authors, and the importance of reading," said Elizabeth Rivas, a Literacy Lubbock board member.
