An elderly man walking across an intersection with a walker was fatally struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in southeast Houston, according to the Houston Police Department.

The crash was reported at the intersection of Molina Street and Telephone Road.

The driver told police he was blinded by the sun when he pulled towards the intersection and struck the man.
