BRAZORIA COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The Oyster Creek City Council is set to vote Thursday night on an ordinance that would limit where sexually oriented businesses can operate in the small Brazoria County city.
Mayor Justin Mills said the ordinance would restrict those businesses to the outskirts of town, near Highway 332. "How close do you want one to your house where your kids are?" Mills said.
Mills said people have tried to set up sexually oriented businesses in the city before but were discouraged from following through.
