Garland police are asking for the public's help identifying the driver involved in a hit-and-run crash that left a 12-year-old boy with significant injuries on Saturday morning.

Garland crosswalk crash What we know: The boy was crossing a marked crosswalk at North Garland Avenue and Apollo Road at about 8:30 a.m. on Saturday, while riding an electric scooter, when he was struck by a white utility-style work truck, according to Garland police.

The truck had four doors and storage compartments along the sides of its bed, according to police.
