The council will meet at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, located at 307 E. Fourth St. Council members are scheduled to take final votes on the city's budget for the fiscal year beginning Oct. 1 and the ordinance establishing the 2026 municipal property tax rate.

The council will also consider the first reading of an ordinance increasing the city's water rates because of higher costs associated with operating the municipal water system.
