CAMERON, Texas (KWTX) - The Milam County Sheriff's Office announced Thursday that investigators have found no evidence supporting criminal animal-cruelty charges against Dogtown Ranch Sanctuary near Rockdale.

The announcement follows multiple complaints and form letters regarding the sanctuary, which is operated by Angela Sera.

According to Brett Eberhart, a spokesperson for the sheriff's office, investigators conducted multiple unannounced inspections, including a joint visit on July 9 with an investigator and licensed veterinarian from the SPCA of Texas.
