The Hutto Hippos varsity girls' basketball team is looking to bounce back after an unsteady 2025-26 season prevented a playoff appearance.

The Lady Hippos finished the 2025 season with an 18-15 overall record and went 8-8 in district, landing at fifth place and narrowly avoiding a playoff appearance for the second consecutive year.

In their last playoff appearance in 2023, the Lady Hippos fell 100-35 to the Duncanville Lady Panthers in the first round.
