An apparent drainage issue recently would not allow a pair of Guadalupe County Commissioners Court members to approve platting of a subdivision extension planned in the county.

Precinct No. 4 Commissioner Stephen Germann presented photos during a regular meeting of the court Tuesday.

The images of a retention pond and a culvert appear to create flooding at an intersection in his precinct.
