HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- The Harris County Sheriff's Office said an apparent wanted suspect is dead after suffering a self-inflcited gunshot woulnd on Thursday morning.

Officials said that the scene began unfolding just after 7 a.m. Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said an out-of-county agency requested HCSO deputies after locating the suspect in the 159000 block of Archduke Drive near East Hardy Road.

SkyEye13 was above a small salvage yard, where several patrol cars and officers were seen surrounding a pickup truck.
