BALMORHEA, Texas (KOSA) - Balmorhea ISD received information on Sept. 16 that a district employee may have engaged in educator misconduct while employed at another school district during a previous school year.

According to Interim Superintendent Roger Ellis, the district immediately reported the claims to appropriate state licensing authorities removed the educator from campus, and started an investigation into the claims.

The employee was indicted on Sept. 9, according to Ellis.
