Harper High School's cross-country teams turned in strong performances Wednesday at the Steve Golemon Memorial Invitational at Llano High School, competing against a field that included 3A, 4A, 5A and 6A programs.

Despite being the smallest school in the field, Harper's varsity boys finished fourth overall.

Sophomore Ben Anderson led the way, placing seventh in the 5,000-meter run in 19:14.
