Camp Mystic's owners filed a bankruptcy plan Friday to sell the camp at a court-supervised auction and end the Eastland family's ownership.

It would also send the wrongful-death claims of families who lost daughters in the July 4, 2025, flood back to trial.

The companies expect the first bid to come from a buyer backed by a group of Camp Mystic families and alumnae.
