A 17-year-old has been charged in the fatal shooting of Westbury High School senior LePaul Warren, according to court records filed Saturday.

Travoris Jarrell Hines is accused of shooting Warren on Friday near Dryad Street and Chimney Rock Road, just outside the school and across from its athletic fields.

Warren, also 17, was shot shortly after 8:20 a.m. He was a senior and played wide receiver on Westbury's varsity football team and shooting guard on the basketball team.
