All permits sought by data centers are halted in Texas until ERCOT completes its audit.

Governor Greg Abbott announced the directive yesterday.

Abbott directed TCEQ to halt the permits because the PUCT, ERCOT, and the Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) require that information to make informed decisions.
