FORT STOCKTON, Texas (KOSA) - The Fort Stockton Police Department addresses the fake Facebook post claiming law enforcement has been searching for two armed fugitives for two weeks.

According to the department, there is no known threat to public safety related to the claim.

Police said officers are actively working around the clock, taking calls, responding to incidents, conducting investigations and patrolling neighborhoods.
