Houston Public Works has responded to questions from KPRC 2 about whether the system for heavy trash collection is being changed.

KPRC 2's questions comes after individuals posted comments online speculating about possible changes in the way the city collects heavy trash.

The question is whether or not the city is moving from a scheduled-based heavy trash collection system to an appointment-based system.
