(KXII) - Dickson students spent the week making gifts for local first responders as a way to say thank you, 25 years after the September 11th attacks.
On that day in 2001, children across the country watched the 9/11 attacks unfold from their classrooms.
Dickson volunteer firefighter Brodie Reed was one of those students, sitting in a Dickson Middle School classroom when the news broke."We were trying to figure out what had happened," recalled Reed.
