SHERMAN, Texas (KXII) - City leaders discussed grocery store development, new restaurants and a planned convention center project during Friday's mayor's roundtable.

Mayor Shawn Teamann said the event gave residents a chance to hear where the city has been, what it is currently doing and its vision for the future.

Rob Rae, director of development services for the city of Sherman, addressed questions about H-E-B."That's what we hear on Facebook... is HEB actually gonna happen?" Rae said.
