For veterans looking for a new job, housing assistance, healthcare or a fresh start, Houston Stand Down brought resources - and a message of hope - together Friday.
The annual event, now in its 33rd year, connected veterans with organizations offering help with everything from VA benefits and housing to employment, education, healthcare and basic needs.
