HARRIS COUNTY, Texas (KTRK) -- A former Harris County Sheriff's Office deputy once honored for valor is now jailed, accused of attempted sexual assault and under investigation in more than a dozen possible cases.

Dohnya Dozier, a veteran and father who became a deputy in 2023, appeared in probable cause court as a magistrate judge detailed allegations that he tried to coerce a woman into sexual favors so she would not be charged with trespassing while he was on duty.
