BRYAN, Texas (KBTX) - For most 8th graders, a real race car doesn't show up at school.
But this week, students at Davila Middle School got to stand next to one - and meet the Texas A&M students who built it.
The Texas A&M Formula IC Team brought its formula-style race car to the Bryan ISD campus, revving the engine for students outside and giving a presentation on the team and its mission inside."If they see a really cool race car at the front of their school, they're going to develop that interest," said Kenneth Ajoku, the team's lead driver and aerodynamicist.
