LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - CHRISTUS Health is opening a new emergency room on the west side of Longview, filling a gap in emergency care access for residents in that part of the city.

CHRISTUS Health Emergency Center West Loop includes three triage rooms, seven exam rooms, two nursing stations, a CT scanner from United Imaging and a dedicated X-ray room.

The X-ray room is shared with an adjacent acute care clinic, which is already operational.
