Houston police officers are at a scene on Bellaire Blvd. where a guard reportedly exchanged gunshots with several suspects who were allegedly trying to rob an armored truck.

The incident happened in the 5500 block of Bellaire Blvd. near the intersection of Chimney Rock Road.

Lt. Larry Crowson with HPD says the guard with the truck was going into ACE Cash Express for a money exchange when he saw two or three suspects approach.
