State Rep. Gina Hinojosa's gubernatorial campaign is running its first TV ads of the election.

Credit: Courtesy Image / Gina Hinojosa Campaign Democratic gubernatorial candidate Gina Hinojosa on Tuesday unveiled her first TV ad buy, a $340,000 campaign aimed at closing the gap with Gov. Greg Abbott has he vies for a historic fourth term.

Scheduled to air in cable markets statewide, the 30- and 60-second spots feature Hinojosa's supporters excoriating Abbott for looking after billionaires' interests while average Texans struggled with high property taxes, rural hospital closures and encroachment by data centers.
