WACO, Texas (KWTX) - The City of Waco has appointed Gustavo Alba as its new Chief Information Officer, municipal officials announced Monday.

In his new role, Alba will head the City's Information Technology Department.

City leaders said he will direct strategic operations across municipal technology systems, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and tech support for all city departments.
