HARKER HEIGHTS, Texas (KWTX) - A family of six is displaced after a house fire in Harker Heights Sunday, according to a statement by the Harker Heights Fire Department.

At around 6:39 p.m., HHFD was dispatched to a residential structure fire in the 200 block of Lottie Ln. Upon arrival, crews encountered heavy fire conditions in the master bedroom of a two-story residence, the statement reads.

According to the Harker Heights fire chief, the fire was contained in the bedroom while the remaining areas of the home sustained moderate smoke damage.
