Several people were detained early Saturday as Houston police and multiple city departments responded to an after-hours club in southeast Houston.

The operation happened around 2:30 a.m. at El Volcan in the 3700 block of Broadway.

Preliminary information from the scene indicated officers with the Houston Police Department's Eastside Division conducted an operation at the club and detained several people.
