One person was killed and another was injured in a single-vehicle rollover crash Monday night on Ranch Road 1323 in Gillespie County.

According to the Gillespie County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched at about 9:35 p.m. July 27 to the area of Ranch Road 1323 and Willow City Loop for a reported single-vehicle crash.

The sheriff's office said the vehicle was traveling at a high rate of speed and failed to slow down for the turn at Willow City Loop.
