BIG SPRING, Texas (KOSA) - Emergency medical services are moving closer to returning to the City of Big Spring and the Big Spring Fire Department.

According to our news partner KBest Media, the City Council voted unanimously Tuesday night to authorize Mayor Robert Moore to send notice ending the city's EMS provider agreement with Allegiant Mobile Health.

City Manager Todd Darden said bringing EMS back in-house has been a goal since the service left the fire department.
