A Harris County grand jury returned a no bill in the assault of a pregnant person case involving University of Houston football player Carmello Brooks.

The case stemmed from Brooks' September arrest after investigators accused him of assaulting a woman who had recently learned she was pregnant.

The woman disputed the allegations and told KPRC 2 Brooks was not aggressive toward her.
