ODESSA, Texas (KOSA) - Amid ongoing midterm election campaigns, Democratic nominee for Texas governor Gina Hinojosa made her way through Texas, hosting a rally in Odessa Tuesday night.

Hinojosa, speaking to voters in West Odessa, laid out her plan to ensure all Texans can live the American dream.

She said the political system is broken, and when asked how she plans to fix it if elected, she said:"By going back to basics, a government that's not doing all the political grandstanding and culture wars, let's just deliver for the people of Texas. My agenda is securing the American dream," Hinojosa said.
