LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) - The Texas Education Agency is reporting a sharp increase in reports of educator misconduct across the state.

According to the TEA's misconduct reporting dashboard, 19,766 reports of educator misconduct were made between September 1, 2025 and August 31, 2026.

That's three times the amount of reports filed between September 1, 2024 and August 31, 2025. That fiscal year had 6,455 reports.
