GATESVILLE, Texas (KWTX) - While Coryell County Judge Roger Miller missed the statutory deadline to file the county's proposed fiscal year 2027 budget, he complied with a court order and filed the proposed budget on Monday.

Coryell County Attorney Brandon Belt filed a motion last week to compel Miller to file the proposed budget after the lame-duck judge missed the Aug. 15 deadline.

Miller agreed at a hearing Friday presided over by Visiting Judge James Morgan to have the FY 2027 budget filed by 2 p.m. Monday.
