CHANNELVIEW, Texas - The man accused of shooting a Harris County sheriff's deputy and fleeing in a patrol vehicle now faces five felony charges, including four counts of aggravated assault against a public servant.
Chase Layne Patin, 25, is charged with aggravated assault involving Harris County Sheriff's Office Deputy Javier E. Perez-Garcia, Sgt. Miguel Diaz, Deputy Abigail Gonzalez and Deputy Caren Williams, according to complaints filed in Harris County.
The charges stem from a Wednesday family-disturbance call at a home in the 1100 block of Bayou Drive in Channelview.
