During Tuesday morning's meeting, the Brownwood City Council authorized City staff to advertise the Downtown Master Plan Phase I projects for competitive sealed bids.

The City has advanced the first phase of priority projects from planning into engineering and final design.

Project Engineer Firm Freese and Nichols has now completed engineering and final design for the Downtown Master Plan Phase I, which includes three coordinated projects - downtown streetscaping, Founders Crossing, and the Silo Promenade and Courtyards.
